What a fabulous weekend of dancing at the 14+ Dance Scholarship this weekend. On Sunday 11th September candidates came from all over New Zealand to Wellington to compete for the 14+ Dance Scholarship, Elvira Macrae Award and the Alexander Grant Training Award.
Congratulations to the three winners, Lyn Lin from Mt Eden Ballet Academy who was awarded the 14+ Dance Scholarship,
Lauren Wycherley from Papilio Atelier who was awarded the Elvira Macrae Award
Katie Shi from Mt Eden Ballet Academy who was awarded the Alexander Grant Award.
Also thanks to our judges Loughlan Prior and Kat Skelton who commented that there was a high standard from all candidates and that it was hard to choose the winners.
Along with our three 14+ Dance Scholarship winners we would also like to congratulate the finalists from this year. These finalists were awarded the Gloria Macrae Finalists Award.
