At the Royal Academy of Dance we believe that every body can dance, so we have created opportunities to dance with us at any age and stage in your life.

A new survey conducted on behalf of the RAD by YouGov revealed that 89% of adults in the UK were not aware that there is currently no legal requirement for dance teachers to have a relevant dance teaching qualification in order to lead a class or dance school. This is also true in New Zealand. We want to reinforce the importance of learning with a qualified dance teacher.   Only dance teachers who meet our professional standards and training requirements are registered with us
