The Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition 2023 New Zealand Semi-Finalists

The Royal Academy of Dance New Zealand is delighted to announce the New Zealand semi-finalists who have been selected to compete in The Fonteyn 2023. This prestigious event, which showcases the incredible talent of young dancers from around the world, will see the semi-finals held at the RAD Headquarters in London, with the finals taking place at His Majesty’s Theatre on Sunday, 29th October.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All of the candidates have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and passion for ballet, and their selection as semi-finalists in this globally recognised competition is a testament to their hard work and talent, and we acknowledge the significant contributions made by their teachers, families, and supporters who have helped them along their ballet journey.

The Fonteyn International Ballet Competition is the RAD’s flagship event and aims to promote excellence and global collaboration within the ballet community. It provides a unique opportunity for young dancers to showcase their abilities on an international stage and work with and receive valuable feedback from world-renowned professionals.

The world’s most promising young dancers will be showcasing their remarkable talent and dedication at this year’s Margot Fonteyn International Dance Competition on 29 October via a live stream. The live stream will be available free to view for 7 days following the final, and then it will be available to watch on a pay-per-view basis.
